A ONE-SIDED PLAN THAT IS SO COSTLY WITH ITS MANY FLAWS AND CATERING FOR SUCH A SMALL AREA OF DUBLIN, WE HAVE NO ALTERNATIVE
BUT TO PUT FORWARD OUR OWN PLAN THAT CAN BE ACHIEVED FOR A FRACTION OF THE COST AND THAT WILL INCLUDE ALL OF DUBLIN. WE ARE
ALSO AVOIDING UNNECESSARY CITY DISRUPTION AND AVOIDING UNNECESSARY HIGHER DEBT, ESPECIALLY WHEN WE ARE IN SUCH DIRE FINANCIAL
DIFFICULTIES. THE ONE FEAR WE HAVE IS THAT THIS PLAN THAT WE OPPOSE COULD COLLAPSE HALF-WAY THROUGH OR ITS HIGH COSTS COULD
DELAY A FINAL SOLUTION FOR OTHER AREAS FOR MANY DECADES. THE RISKS ARE TOO HIGH AND WE MUST LOOK AT THE OTHER OPTION. EVEN
WITH OUR PLAN THE AIRPORT AND NORTH DUBLIN FARE MORE THAN FAVOURABLE. TRANSPORT 21 IS A DEVELOPER LED PLAN:- T21 WAS
PLANNED AT A TIME WHEN THE COUNTRY WAS AWASH WITH MONEY AND WASTE WAS IGNORED BY EVERYBODY. THIS COUNTRY REACHED THE TOP THREE
IN THE WORLD WITHOUT ANY OF THIS INFRASTRUCTURE OR OUR NEW MAJOR ROAD NETWORKS. WE HAVE GREAT ROADS BUT IT DID NOT SAVE US. JOBS:- BUILDING
A SYSTEM OVERGROUND WILL CREATE EVEN MORE (LOCAL) JOBS AND WILL BENEFIT A BIGGER AREA. OUR CITY COULD LOSE MANY JOBS IF THERE
