BACKGROUND
Steve Hogue started up his Insurance Brokerage in 1977 as a Life, Pension and
Mortgage Broker. That same year he came to Conyngham Road garage to provide a personalised and confidential service to the
staff at Conyngham Road.
Steve Hogue is an American by birth. Born in Hawaii, ( one of the Hawaiin Islands
in the North Pacific Ocean), Steve came to Ireland in the 1970's and married an Irish girl. They're still married, by
the way. While in Hawaii, Steve became a High School teacher and for 2 years taught History and English. Although
Steve has settled in Ireland, you might be interested to know that Steve's family are still living in Hawaii. ( No- he doesn't
know Steve McGarrett from Hawaii Five-0).
Steve is the oldest of five children and his 76 year old mother, 76 year old father
and his two brothers and one sister are all happily settled in Hawaii and have no intentions of leaving -
would you? Steve and his wife have two children. Their 28 year old daughter works permanently in Brussels and their 24 year
old son is living at home and who is following in his father's footsteps in the insurance business and comes to Conyngham
Road too on Wednesdays.

Steve Hogue is a multi-agency intermediary. What

Eagles Golf Society and for some 10 years now there is an annual golf outing for the 'Steve
