DUBLIN TO LIMERICK CHARITY CYCLING TEAM
dublimcyc2006.jpg

The C.I.E. Friends of  'Bone Marrow for Leukaemia Trust' had their annual charity fund raising cycle race from Dublin to Limerick on Friday 21st April 2006. The money raised will go to Our Lady's Childrens Hospital in Crumlin. In Conyngham Road Depot €550.00 was raised and from the cycle race overall, over €5000.00 was raised. In the photograph, above, several 'Team Conyngham Road Depot' staff participated in the race. Conyngham Road members are: Stephen Conroy (extreme left); Fergal Swaine (in red); Val Krutov (second from right); and Stephen Gahan (extreme right). Another valuable member of the team was Karl Balfe (centre) who is a friend of Val Krutov, and who contributed greatly on the day. Many thousands of Euro have been raised over the years for the 'Bone Marrow for Leukaemia Trust' and it is a great achievement for the lads to have raised so much for their chosen charity. Congratulations and well done. Your colleagues are proud of you all.
